The County of Wellington’s (County) and the Township of Centre Wellington’s (Centre Wellington) conducted a Request for Prequalified Bridge and Culvert contractors (CW2019-022) for the purpose of establishing a list of prequalified contractors to bid on its’ bridge and culvert projects commencing in 2019. The initial period as stated in the RFPQ was for a period of two years with an option to extend for an additional three years which ends in 2024. 

As specified in the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (Article 508) if a procuring entity intends a list of prequalified suppliers to be valid for more than 3 years, then, in each year, a request for prequalification must be published in a tender notice on their bidding platform.

ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS shall be received by the Bidding System, no later than 2:00:59 p.m. on Wednesday November 16, 2022. ** EXTENDED TO Wednesday November 23, 2022.

Questions related to this tender may be submitted via the Bidding System using the Submit a Question feature. 

The intent of this notice is:

1. To provide an opportunity for new contractors to submit a prequalification package for consideration to be added to the approved list of prequalified bridge and culvert contractors; and,
2. To provide an opportunity for approved contractors make an application to change their existing approved Level on the prequalified list.
